The Castle Practice is a long established family practice. We have almost 12,000 registered patients. We have two surgeries in the heart of the community, one in Ludgershall (Central Street), and one in Tidworth (Drummer Lane).

Our team is proud of the services we provide, we aim to support you and your family with high quality, integrated care.

Alternatively, in non-life threatening situations, Salisbury Walk In Health Centre will be open between 08.00 - 20.00 on Saturdays, Sundays and the Bank holidays.  It is situated in the Central Health Clinic, Avon Approach, Salisbury.  That is in Salisbury, beside the river, next to the Central Car Park.

Pharmacists / Chemists  If you need to get a prescription over the bank holidays, all pharmacy opening times for the UK are available on

Emergency and Out of Hours: Joined up care for you -

In order to improve your continuity of care, you can give permission for other health services (such as A&E, Out of Hours) to view your medical record.  Quick access to information on your allergies, medication and medical history etc. is a great aid to those caring for you.  There are, of course, many safeguards including asking your permission at the time.  Information explaining this in more depth is attached; please click on the links below
