Be Clear on Cancer:
If you have had a cough for 3 weeks or more, it could be a sign of lung disease, including cancer. Finding it early makes it more treatable. So don't ignore it - tell your doctor
If you get out of breath doing things you used to be able to do, it could be a sign of lung or heart disease, or even cancer. Finding it early makes it more treatable. So don't ignore it - tell your doctor

Helping you make the right decision about where to go for health care in Wiltshire
Where do I go for health care?
When we are Closed -
You can ring 111 to be directed to the service most appropriate for your needs
An option is to visit Salisbury Walk-in Centre
Conveniently situated by Salisbury Central Car Park, The Walk in Centre is open Monday to Friday 6.30pm until 10pm and then on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, from 8am until 8pm. This is a good alternative to the Accident and Emergency department if you feel you need to see someone when the practice is closed.
Salisbury Walk-In Centre, Avon Approach, Salisbury SP1 3SL 01722 331191
If people need to access services during the day time Monday to Friday then they should ring their GP in the normal way. Alternatively, people can ring 111 and they will be directed to the service which is most appropriate for their needs.
Where to go for healthcare
Meningitis B National Update
Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
We hope you enjoy having a look around the site and familiarising yourself with some of the online features such as ordering a repeat prescription. Whatever your thoughts, be sure to let us know via our feedback function. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.
Emergency and Out of Hours: Joined up care for you -
In order to improve your continuity of care, you can give permission for other health services (such as A&E, Out of Hours) to view your medical record. Quick access to information on your allergies, medication and medical history etc. is a great aid to those caring for you. There are, of course, many safeguards including asking your permission at the time. Information explaining this in more depth is attached; please click on the links below
