I qualified from Dundee University in 1985. After completing House Jobs in Scotland, I joined the army serving as a Medical Officer in the UK and Germany. I completed my GP training in 1991. After working as a civilian GP with the British Army in Germany, I settled in Wiltshire in 1995.
I am married with 3 children.
I joined the Castle Practice as a Retainere in 1998, becoming a Partner in 2000 and stepping down to become a salaried GP in 2022.

I qualified from University College London Medical school in 2001 and trained in Medicine at Basingstoke hospital, Guys and Kings College hospital. I then undertook GP training in Winchester. I have worked at The Castle Practice since 2008 and became senior partner in July 2021.

I qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2001. I trained initially in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and then moved to General practice, completing my training in Portsmouth. I joined the Castle Practice in December 2007, and currently work 3 days a week in the surgery as a salaried GP.

I qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2011 having completed my pre-clinical studies at Trinity College, Oxford.
I completed my first hospital rotations in East London and Essex before returning to Hampshire to embark on the Salisbury General Practice training scheme. My final year, as a registrar, was at The Castle Practice where I have since stayed, as a salaried GP until July 2018 when I became a partner.
My specialist interest is minor surgery, including cryotherapy.Dr Sonja Bland

I qualified from Imperial College London in 2010, having spent my preclinical years at Christ Church College, Oxford. I spent my foundation years at Royal Hampshire County Hospital before moving to Salisbury District Hospital for my GP training. I spent 4 months working in Gisborne, New Zealand. My final year as a registrar was at The Castle Practice, where I then continued as a salaried GP, before becoming a GP Partner in July 2022. In my spare time, I enjoy time with my family and horse riding.

I qualified from the University of Southampton in 2012 and undertook my foundation training at Salisbury District Hospital. Having completed registrar training at The Castle Practice, where I remained as a salaried GP before becoming a GP partner 2021. Married, and my hobbies are endurance sports, including ultra marathons and long-distance triathlons.

I qualified from Manchester University in 2003. I worked in Australia for 18 months before coming back to the UK to complete my GP VTS training in Southampton. I joined the practice in 2012, initially as one of the salaried doctors and I became a partner in July 2014.

I graduated from Warwick Medical School in 2016 and spent time working in the Midlands, Swindon and Portsmouth before moving to Salisbury and completing my general practice training. I joined The Castle Practice as a salaried GP in 2024, having previously worked at the practice as a trainee GP.

I qualified from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria 2010. I completed my foundation training at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex in Nigeria. After working for several years in hospitals in Nigeria, my family and I moved to the UK, and completed my GP training with Salisbury District Hospital. My final year of my GP training was with the Castle Practice, where I have continued as a salaried GP.
My special interests include minor surgery, joint injections and medical education.
